Comments/description: USBC 99-27, OI 529. NO LESS THAN 80 YEARS AGO opens the paragraph on the left side of this 1936 PATENTS PENDING variant. While the can is quite clean there are a couple of oxidation spots on the left side. Other nicks and scrapes of varying depths either expose the white base coat or bare metal. The left half has three substantial dings that may not show in the photos, and there is another sharp diagonal one to the right of the girl on the moon, about 1-1/2 inches long. Below that are a couple of small dimples. Both lids are the very early bead-less variety and gleam like new. All items are original unless otherwise noted.
