Description

Brewer/Business Name: New Philadelphia Brewery, New Philadelphia, Ohio
Manufacturer/Plant: Continental Can Co.
Date of manufacture: circa 1940s
USBC reference: 170-17 Contents/Type: 12 oz
Dimensions: 2-3/4 w x 5 h.
Comments/description: Very impressive can. Scarce in either low- or high-profile format. This on-grade example has great color and shine with just tiny marks marring the litho: some nicks and scratches, some very light and tiny spots. Not evident in photos are an indent on the mandatory, a ding above the H of JOHN, a pair below BULL, one to the left of the portrait, and another in the red on the right side. Others are typical tiny canning dings at the rims. Can looks great on the shelf and these minor impressions do little to detract. Highly desirable in on-grade condition. All items are original unless otherwise noted. For questions, feedback, or to sell a similar item contact Dan via email.

Condition: Cans may have minor canning dings at the rims that are not evident in photos. Larger dings that do not show will be noted in the item description. A thin black vertical reflection may show on some can photos.
