Comments/description: STRONG designation at lower front. This is the variation that states THE MINNEAPOLIS BEER at upper left front, rather than THE FRIENDLY BEER. The "THE MINNEAPOLIS BEER" slogan represents an earlier branding approach before the brewery shifted to the better-known "THE FRIENDLY BEER" wording on later issues. Just a wonderful example with great metallic luster and crisp, warm accents against the deep, even black. Still has gold on the spout and rims. Ding below the BE of BEER may not show in the photos.
