Comments/description: A portion of the proceeds from this lot will be donated to NABA. Great artwork on this tray looks equally fabulous at this smaller size as it does on its full-sized serving tray cousin. The energy of the scene and the wild look in the horses eye tell the viewer all they need to know about the urgency and excitement created by the arrival of the first San Francisco-brewed Lager. The face is dulled from crazing but the color is not lost, although there is some lightening and spottiness around the rider. Inner rim and rim edge both look excellent with minimal wear and aging.
