Comments/description: A portion of the proceeds from this lot will be donated to NABA. Scarce piece, the first we have offered. While this period trade card or blotter with black Americana can be viewed as historically significant, it also can be seen as racially insensitive or offensive with its colloquial lyrics and headline! The artwork is very colorful nonetheless, and the piece is a true time capsule. The only notable damage is a diagonal crease from just under the head of the drumstick to just above DEW.
