Comments/description: This brilliantly painted piece is not only brimming with color, it also has a great clean, shiny surface to it. Rather than riding horseback, this Mountie is shown sitting astride a bottle of Drewrys, reins in hand. His hat brim is made of metal cast into the plaster. There is some paint chipping on it but no loss or oxidation and the plaster crown of the hat is intact except for a chip off the back – the only one we can find on the piece. There no cracks or repairs, just some crazing of the paint/glaze. Produced by Plasto Manufacturing Co. of Chicago. All items are original unless otherwise noted.
