Comments/description: USBC 35-17 OI 84. Rare R9/R7 variation with printing anomaly at the end of the pipe that resembles a puff of smoke. Dates to mid-1936 and is Patents Pending. Can has oxidation throughout, though visibility varies, so the face display quite well and the variation on the pipe is readily apparent. Two small dings above the TE of STATE and 2 others in the green alongside the left edge of the TRUE BAY STATE . . . OI panel. Solid can despite some holes in the seam and bottom lid. Tough!
