March 15 26 Rare Beer Cans Breweriana
Lot 316:
Description
Brewer/Business Name: Lemp Brewing Co., St. Louis, Missouri
Manufacturer/Plant: Unknown
Date of manufacture: Pre-Prohibition
Contents/Type: N/A
Dimensions: 25 inches.
Comments/description: Shakespearean character and Lemp mascot Sir Falstaff raises his glass of beer while regaling a rapt audience (including Price Hal perhaps?) with his comical tales. Note the detail that even includes the date 1912 on the crate and brewery name on all of the labels. All items are original unless otherwise noted. For questions, feedback, or to sell a similar item contact Dan via email.
Condition: NOTE: The gold rim has been repainted. Because the piece has been clear coated we cannot ascertain whether other areas of the image may have been restored. Other than some fade to the lighter hues of yellow and orange, the piece looks outstanding, although the castle on the high hill to the left of Falstaffs arm is nearly missing.
