Comments/description: Known as a BIG R design, this label and its cousins feature a large R for RHEINGOLD with detached serifs. This particular variant is non-OI with enamel gold, and is IRTP (versus Withdrawn Free). It also features large COOL BEFOR SERVING at bottom front and is Patents Pending, indicating an early original circa 1936. Blemishes include some light under-the-paint humidity that barely registers in the photos and some scratching on the right side. There are only a couple areas of heavier oxidation and they have not altered the paint color. They are located near the solder attached to the rims at 12- and 6-o-clock. Solder is also present on the rim at the top and bottom of the seam. A few typical small canning dings near the rims may not show here. Nice example of a scarce and early issue. All items are original unless otherwise noted. For questions, feedback, or to sell a similar item contact Dan via email.
Condition: Cans may have minor canning dings at the rims that are not evident in photos. Larger dings that do not show will be noted in the item description. A thin black vertical reflection may show on some can photos.
